About Dr. Pedram Shojai
Pedram Shojai is a doctor of oriental medicine and qigong master who is passionate about helping people wake up and live their lives fully. Founder of well.org, he is the author of Rise and Shine and the New York Times best-selling book The Urban Monk. Pedram is also the producer and director of the movies Vitalityand Origins, and stars in two upcoming TV shows. His next movie is in pre-production and features thought leaders who are changing the world. Pedram is considered one of the most influential people in health and green media.
Pedram Shojai studied biology at UCLA until he had a series of profound mystical experiences that drew him to the Eastern esoteric arts.
Since then, he has studied Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, Meditation, and Medicine diligently for the past 20 years. He is a doctor of Oriental Medicine. His passion is to travel the world and meet inspiring people who are making a difference in their communities.
Over the past two years, Pedram has written his first book, Rise and Shine: Awaken Your Energy Body Taoist Alchemy and Qi Gong, and has produced two documentary movies. He’s gotten far more involved in philanthropy and is now working with amazing people all over the world.
