These days, it seems like the deciding factor for career success is whether or not you’re able to achieve the perfect work/life balance. It’s like if you haven’t figured out how to have both a happy personal life and a happy work life that don’t get in the way of one another, then you’re doing something… wrong.
But the truth is, the whole work/life balance thing shouldn’t even be a thing at all.
That’s because your business should be something that serves your life, not hinders it.
If you find yourself constantly having to choose work life over personal life or vice versa, then you’re probably feeling pretty stressed, burned out, and wondering how you’re ever going to break the vicious cycle.
It’s a clear sign that you’re in the wrong job and need to make a change.
Work should be a natural extension of who you are and how you live your life. It should be something that excites you and something that makes you proud.
Now, don’t get us wrong, there is a fine line between being passionate about what you do and being a workaholic. But don’t worry… we talk about that too!
