We see it all the time! Health Coaches create a beautiful website, spend hours crafting a powerful and effective program or offering, and then create a sales page that is boring, ineffective, and worst of all doesn’t convert!
“Where did I go wrong?!” they wonder!
Lucky for these Health Coaches (and you), there’s a simple solution that doesn’t leave you having to overhaul your website or offer!
The solution is as simple as creating a sales page that speaks to your ideal clients, shows them how your program will solve their problems, and has them sign up before you can say, “Unicorn kind of magic!” (Because that’s how it’s going to feel!)
We’re going to cover four sections of your sales page that need to be attention-grabbing, thoughtful, and irresistible so that you can create a sales page that converts, brings you clients, and gives you the sweet sound of “cha-ching!”
Wanna know what they are? You’re going to learn how to create…
- Effective blog copy.
- Jaw-dropping teaser bullets.
- Hot headlines.
- Irresistible button and call to action copy.
Let’s dive on in!
INSIDER SECRETS ON HOW TO CREATE AN IRRESISTIBLE SALES PAGE
CREATE BODY COPY THAT CONVERTS
Yes, headlines, bullets, and call to action buttons are all the rage, but what about the body copy on your page?
Did you know that reading the body text is where people will probably spend the most time?
So, let’s not brush it off — it’s important — which is why we’re going to start with 7 simple steps for devising copy your audience will melt over!
- Write down, in your own words, what you’re trying to say! Don’t get fancy and try to make every word impactful, just free-flow.
- Why should your audience care what you have to say? Again, write this down in your own words. Don’t overthink it!
- Now, blend the “what” and the “why” together to help your audience understand why what you’re saying is essential for them.
- Use their words! Move from YOUR words to the words that your audience uses. Don’t get too caught up in jargon or trying to sound “smart”. Just use the exact words your audience uses when discussing the topic you’re writing about.
- Edit out anything that’s unnecessary. People only read about 16% of the copy on a page (Crazy, right?), so get rid of the “fluff” to make sure your message is clear.
- Tell stories! Think about how you can add stories to what you’ve written to make it more engaging. Remember, words tell, but stories sell!
- Use analogies to make your copy easier to understand. Make one last pass through your body copy and see if there are concepts that you can explain using analogies. Relating a new concept to one that people already know is a powerful way to connect with your audience.
Once again, these steps will help to ensure your body copy gets read and gets results!
Next up, let’s talk about headers!
ATTENTION-GRABBING HEADLINES
Headlines are the first thing people see! So as you can imagine, pulling them in with your headline so you can get them into your body text is downright essential!
Most people will only ever read your headline, so make sure you tell them what’s in it for them so that they keep reading.
Some great headline ideas to get your creative juices flowing include:
- Number Lists (“The Top 5 Ways To Lower Your Blood Pressure TODAY!”)
- How To (“How To Eliminate Sugar Cravings In 10 Seconds Flat!)
- Surprising / Shocking (“The #1 Reason You Can’t Lose Weight That Even Nutritionists Don’t Know”)
- Break Convention (“Kale: Why You Should Avoid This Popular Food At All Costs!”)
- Question (“Who Else Wants / Did You Know?”)
- Backed By Science (“Why You Should Drink Coffee Before A Nap: Backed By Science.”)
- Direct (“Turmeric Can Help Reduce The Risk Of Cancer By 25%!”)
- Make My Life Easier (“The Easiest Way To Lose 10 Pounds In 10 Days!”)
- Recipes
- Save Me Time (“Heal Your Gut In Just 5 Days!”)
- Reasons Why (“Why You Should Stop Taking Supplements Immediately!”)
- What I Learned (“What I Learned By Going Vegan for 21 Days.”)
TEASE TO CONVERT WITH BULLETS
Sales page teaser bullet points are a great way to tease your program/product content and to entice readers to continue reading and ultimately purchase. (After all, that is your goal!)
The trick is to let them know what they will learn, or gain, without giving the exact answer or solution.
Here are some fun and intriguing ways to tease your audience and have them saying, “YES!” before they even finish reading!
