The holidays are upon us and for many of us that means busy schedules and being on the run. It also means cookies, candy, and more cookies! During the holidays, healthy eating habits often get thrown by the wayside, leaving our pants a little too tight and our health a little not great. That’s why today we’re bringing you 5 smoothie recipes for a healthy holiday on the go!

Instead of beating yourself up for the holiday cookies that you have eaten or feeling like you are missing out by passing the plate, try some of these holiday smoothie creations for a fun, unique and even sweet treat!

Whether you are looking for a holiday twist to your morning smoothie or a smoothie to ease your tummy the day after a big meal, these smoothie recipes are sure to do the trick!

 

HAPPY HOLIDAY SMOOTHIE

1-1 ½ c Unsweetened almond milk 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
4 Tbsp Bulletproof Collagen Protein Powder (or protein powder of your choice) Pinch Nutmeg
½ Apple Pinch Ground cloves
¾ c Fresh or frozen cranberries 1 Tbsp Maple syrup (optional)
Directions:

1. Place all ingredients in your blender.

2. Blend until smooth and enjoy!

 

AN APPLE A DAY SMOOTHIE

1 ½ c Filtered water 8 Fresh mint leaves
4 Tbsp Bulletproof Collagen Protein Powder (or protein powder of your choice) 3-4 Leaves of green leaf lettuce
½ Granny Smith apple ¼ c Fresh or frozen berry blend
Directions:

1. Place all ingredients in your blender

2. Blend until smooth and enjoy!

 

CHOCOLATE CHERRY COVERED SMOOTHIE

1 c Coconut milk ½ c Pitted frozen cherries
4 Tbsp Bulletproof Collagen Protein Powder (or protein powder of your choice) 1 Tbsp Raw Cacao powder
Directions:

1. Place all ingredients in your blender

2. Blend until smooth and enjoy!

 

 

TUMMY SMOOTHER

1 c Coconut milk ½ c Fresh or frozen pineapple
1 Frozen banana ½ tsp Freshly grated ginger
4 Tbsp Bulletproof Collagen Protein Powder (or protein powder of your choice)
Directions:

1. Place all ingredients in your blender

2. Blend until smooth and enjoy!

 

 

MERRY CHERRY SMOOTHIE

¾ c Unsweetened almond milk 2 tsp Freshly grated ginger
4 Tbsp Bulletproof Collagen Protein Powder (or protein powder of your choice) 1 tsp Ground flaxseed
1 c Frozen unsweetened raspberries 1-2 tsp Fresh lemon juice
1 Medjool date, pitted
Directions:

1. Place all ingredients in your blender

2. Blend until smooth and enjoy!
