20 Positive Affirmations For Women

positive affirmations for women

Oh, that nasty little voice inside your head. You know the one!

The voice of negative self-talk that never has anything good to say. That voice that hurts your mental health and feeds off of negativity and doubt?

Well, the good news is these are just thought patterns, and we can change them with powerful affirmations. According to research from Carnegie Melon and The University Of Pennsylvania, affirmations can reduce emotional pain, improve your mental acuity, and make you perform better even under pressure.

If you’re tired of limiting beliefs holding you back, have an open mind and let us share with you how affirmations can help.

Maybe you’re new to affirmations! You’ve heard about them but aren’t sure just how they work or how to use them! Great, you’re in the right place!

AFFIRMATIONS ALLOW WOMEN TO TAP INTO UNLIMITED JOY

Did you know that you are meant to live each day surrounded by unlimited joy and abundance (and love)?

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that! With the busyness of life, it can be easy to forget that you deserve to be happy.

Let this blog post serve as a reminder that you deserve all the joy, love, and abundance in the world! It’s when you forget this and let your mind run the show that you close off your ability to welcome what is yours to receive.

Are you ready to tap into the eternal fountain of love, joy, and abundance? If so, you must start by bringing awareness to your thoughts and emotions.

AFFIRMATIONS HELP WOMEN IMMENSELY

Your thoughts have been shaped by years of experiences — both good and bad, they’ve each played a part in molding your ideas in each moment.

Most of the time, the negative experiences stand out over the positive ones. This is why, if you get really quiet and bring awareness to your thoughts, you’ll notice they aren’t always very friendly.

To shift your thoughts from negative to positive, start with awareness — bringing your attention to what thoughts dominate your mind NOW!

RESHAPE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH AFFIRMATIONS

Once you’ve spent some time observing your thoughts, your next step is to begin to shift your thoughts with affirmations!

Using positive affirmations (remember that there are negative ones too!) can reroute your neurological pathways and help you to feel more bliss and joy naturally in your life!

While affirmations work amazingly well (if you commit to them), it’s important to remember that you need to use them each day to ensure your thoughts are of a positive nature instead of letting the old negative affirmations seep in.

HOW WOMEN CAN USE AFFIRMATIONS FOR A BETTER LIFE

There are many ways to use affirmations! Here are a few ideas:

  • Write them out in a journal daily!
  • Speak them out loud each morning.
  • Plug them into your phone or place them on a sticky note in places you’ll see them throughout your day.
  • Repeat them as a mantra when you’re meditating or when you’re feeling down or scared.

It’s important to note that when you’re coming up with an affirmation, you often want to make it about something that you want to create in your life.

For example, if you’re dealing with some health issues, it may be helpful to say something like, “I am healthy, happy, and feel amazing!”

While this may not be true at the moment, it will start to shift your focus (and body) into a place of more health and ease. When you say your affirmations in the present tense, you trick your mind into believing it’s real right now.

Even if it feels silly, repeating affirmations that may not be true at the time can change you to a positive degree very quickly.

3 GRATITUDE AFFIRMATIONS TO INCREASE GRATITUDE

There is a definite link between having gratitude and being happy, having an increased sense of well-being, and having better health. And since scientific data shows women are more likely to use antidepressants, affirmations can be the panacea to help wart of those tough moods.

While it’s easy to focus on the bad and get caught up in negative thoughts and emotions, it’s essential to remember to be grateful for everything that’s going right.

A simple way to begin focusing on gratitude each day is to make a conscious effort to openly express it at least once a day. By taking a little time in the morning and before bed to practice gratitude, you’ll find you begin to have positive thoughts.

Read the positive statements below and watch your self-talk improve!

1. “I GIVE THANKS NOW FOR MY LIFE OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS, AND SELF-EXPRESSION.”

It might be challenging to openly express your gratitude when you’re used to focusing on the negative. If that’s the case, start with something simple like giving thanks for your health and self-expression to get in the habit of expressing how thankful you are.

2.  “ALL THINGS ARE NOW WORKING TOGETHER FOR GOOD IN MY LIFE.”

This doesn’t have to mean that everything in your life is perfect – that’s likely not the case. However, it’s important to begin seeing those negative pieces of your life in a positive light.

How are they working to change you? Are they pushing you in a direction you never thought you’d go before? How are they working to mold you into the person you want to be?

Try to remember that everything in your life, whether it be good or bad, is molding you, changing you, and can work to better you if you let it!

3. “I EXPERIENCE GRATITUDE FOR EVERYTHING I HAVE IN MY LIFE.”

If it’s challenging to express your gratitude with a blanket expression like this, then begin focusing on individual items.

Give thanks for a roof over your head, food on the table, and clothes on your back. Give thanks for the air you’re breathing, your family, or a good book. Start small and work your way up!

There is an intuitive knowing that the more gratitude you have, the better you feel.

Every individual is different and needs a personalized experience. If these affirmations don’t suit you, create your own!

Find three things to give thanks for in your life, whatever they might be, and begin expressing gratitude. You’ll be amazed at how much better you feel!
