5 Step Transformational Nutrition Health Coaching Method

Cookie-cutter diets and meal plans, generic habit change, and quick fix detoxes are all surface level solutions that we see on television, on the Internet, and in books.

And they are all perfect for a world that has vanished.

Disease and health conditions are on the rise and blanket meal plans and cookie-cutter diets don’t work. People have turned to these solutions for years only to end up more unhealthy, unhappy, and overweight than ever.

At the Institute of Transformational Nutrition, we understand the importance of considering the whole person using the three pillars of Transformational Nutrition – Science of Nutrition, Psychology of Nutrition, and Spirituality of Nutrition – when it comes to creating a personalized nutrition and health plan.

WHAT IS TRANSFORMATIONAL NUTRITION®?

Transformational Nutrition is the new science of personalized health.

It is a method of providing personalized nutrition by seamlessly weaving together science, psychology, and spirituality for the most complete health-promoting method of nutrition available.

Transformational Nutrition is the scientific study of human health and wellness on multiple levels including the biological, psychological, and spiritual areas of life.

It is a method of personalized nutrition that moves beyond food and physical symptoms to explore and uncover root causes of dis-ease and unhappiness to help people live fuller, more fulfilled lives.

It was created to solve the problem of coaches only looking at physical symptoms when attempting to help their clients restore their health and live a life they value.

Transformational Nutrition complements, without intending to replace or ignore, the traditional areas of nutrition and medicine.

THE TRANSFORMATIONAL NUTRITION MODEL

There are three areas that must be focused on if you want to create permanent change in your or your client’s body, health, and life – in other words, a true transformation. They are:

1. Science of Nutrition
2. Psychology of Nutrition
3. Spirituality of Nutrition

Within these three pillars, we discover the things that truly create long-lasting results for clients.

The traditional medical system tends to treat body parts in isolation but, in fact, everything in the body is connected – physically, mentally, and spiritually – and that you must address it as so.

The explicit purpose of the Transformational Nutrition Model is to “provide an interconnected system to show how the science of nutrition, psychology, and spirituality blend together along with the physical, social, environmental, and behavioral components to create a model of personalized nutrition that allows an individual to heal and create permanent change.”

Perhaps the best part of being a health coach certified in Transformational Nutrition is that you no longer have to try and put together the pieces of the puzzle yourself.

Coaches have told us that when they graduated from other health coaching schools they had gained knowledge but had no idea how to take all the information they had learned and put it all together.

5 STEP TRANSFORMATIONAL NUTRITION COACHING PROCESS


STEP 1: GATHER INFORMATION

It’s critical that you gather the right information when taking on new clients. You need a simple, step-by-step form that asks all the important questions. Our proven system helps you quickly and easily gather information so you can explore your client’s health so you can start creating a personalized plan that gets them results!

STEP 2: ANALYZE INFORMATION

Once you have gathered information, our Symptoms Decoder helps to map out solutions and provide you with the full protocol for your client – mind, body, and spirit. We include everything from diet and supplements to lifestyle changes and spiritual practices so nothing is left out.

STEP 3: CLARIFY CLIENT GOALS

Your client may be willing but not quite ready to take the right next action to improve their health and life. Our Readiness Assessment will quickly and easily allow you to evaluate your client’s openness to change.

STEP 4: CO-CREATE A PERSONALIZED NUTRITION ACTION PLAN

Now, it’s time to co-create a personalized plan with your client! We show you exactly how to educate your client, while supporting them, in a way that inspires and motivates real change.

By co-creating an action plan, your client will be much more likely to follow through and get results.

STEP 5: SUPPORT THE CLIENT

The final step in the Transformational Nutrition Coaching Process is supporting your client. This is the first and foremost priority for Certified Transformational Nutrition Coaches (CTNC). Continuing to educate and support your client will lead them to success!
