The people in your life matter more than you think.
Look, it’s not uncommon. You’ve probably been involved in a relationship that just wasn’t the best.
Maybe you argued a lot, maybe they made you feel bad about yourself, or maybe you just couldn’t be yourself around them.
Oftentimes, we grow out of these relationships and eventually move on with our lives thinking, “Good riddance!”
But, if that person is a family member, a coworker, or a significant other, it can be a bit more challenging to just leave.
The thing is — staying in that relationship could be seriously damaging not just your mental health, but your physical health.
What we’ve learned is that there is a direct correlation between the people we surround ourselves with and our blood pressure.
This means that if you’re stuck spending consistent time with someone who makes you sad, angry, or anxious, you could be seriously hurting your health.
And, symptoms of high blood pressure do not make themselves known immediately.
